Get to know Archie Flores and what he does, and how he's committed to artistry and excellence. 

Background 

Archie Flores is Originally from the Boise, Idaho. In addition to graduating from Boise State University with a degree in music education in 2025 and studying privately with professor of trombone, Sarah Paradis, Archie was also an assistant Band director at Nampa Senior High School for three years from 2022-2024. During his time in Idaho, he also built up a private studio where multiple students qualified for region and state level honor bands. 

At Boise State he was appointed Principal Trombone of the top wind ensemble and orchestra and was also a 3-year section leader and soloist with the Blue Thunder Marching band. Archie has also played with the Boise Philharmonic, the Meridian Symphony, and Waco Jazz Orchestras and has been an active member and performer with the Boise Modern Jazz Orchestra, and the Millennial Choirs and Orchestras. 

Additionally, Archie was a 2-year member of the Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps where he was a section leader and soloist and also won Brass member of the year in 2023. 

Currently Archie is acting as the Graduate Associate for the Baylor Trombone Studio where he assists in facilitating the studio at Baylor University. Archie is also a member of the Baylor Wind Ensemble.
